About Us

MOD makes living more fun and work more creative.

Inspired by everyday geometries, MOD is furniture – infrastructure for living & working – that recognizes our inherent desire to re-arrange space. Each product is composed of several pieces that can be combined, grouped, dispersed, stacked and arranged in multiple ways. Some can be expanded endlessly, others are finite.

Founded by the architecture and design firm Min | Day, MOD creates objects that inspire improvisation.

Welcome to MOD.

Named for its 3 components, 4-sided bases and 5-sided tops, the 3-4-5 Table is a modular cocktail table composed of 3 geometric solids of different sizes. The irregular, geometric solids fit together like puzzle pieces to form a large, 6-sided table, or they can be distributed around a room in different configurations. Available in a variety of finishes. For indoor use.

Come Play
with Soft Stones

Complex geometry creates interactive and playful seating. Soft Stones are a seating set with 8 unique components. When composed, the pieces nest to form a rectangular block for lounging. When separated, the individual pieces become moveable seats, stools or tables that can be arranged as desired. Soft Stones can be appreciated in the sculptural individuality of each component or the changing overall form. For indoor use.

Get Together
with PenTables

Originally designed for an arts center in the Midwest, the PenTables reinterpret the collaborative and flexible table. Used individually, it is an unusual 5-sided table; grouped together the tables open up endless possibility. Multiple combinations suit almost any situation or event. Made of welded steel with a powder-coated finish, legs attach to top with hidden fasteners. Tables rest atop total-lock casters with non-marking wheels. For indoor use. Designed with architecture students from FACT at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
